MASERATI buys its own pavilion for the FIA GT series
„Customized structure“ for sports car manufacturer
Mannheim/Modena After the "OPEL tube“ in 2002, the "ITR– Taxi tent“ in 2003 and the "DUNLOP desk“ in 2004, InSumma KG commissioned TARTLER Zelte AG with the "Maserati pavilion", the fourth time for the development and production of a customer-specific special construction.
As in the years before, the development and production of this order had to be done in a very short time, as a decision in this project was also only possible very shortly before the start of the FIA GT racing series. The requirements on the part of the customer were clearly defined: a construction calculated flawlessly as regards statics, to be implemented with the smallest aluminium profile possible and free of anchoring was to be the result of the development. Further, it was a question of guaranteeing the quickest possible set-up and take-down times, as experience has shown that the time available at the race courses is very tight. In the "mid-ship" of the construction, the large Maserati bus was to be able to be driven in and out. The two lateral add-on desks, which can also be fitted as stand-alone elements, were to provide seating capacity as well. Fitted all around with glass windows and a totally black covering, this pavilion is now touring all the way around Europe.
